Did You Know?

Every year, end of life vehicles generate between 8 and 9 million tonnes of waste. An end-of-life vehicle (or ELV) is a car or light commercial vehicle which is to be disposed of by the registered owner (in other words, a car or small van which is to be scrapped). The BC Auto Recyclers have developed a province-wide vehicle retirement program to ensure waste products from end-of-life vehicles are managed in accordance with all municipal, provincial and federal laws.
